Inspiring Future Innovators: A Day of STEM Exploration with IBS Africa Students

Yesterday, Asustem Robotics had the pleasure of hosting a group of bright and eager students from the International Bilingual School of Africa (IBS Africa) in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire. Led by their enthusiastic teacher, Margaret Onah, the students arrived at our STEM Project Office in Ghana filled with curiosity and anticipation.

The session started with our Project Manager, Nii Armah Tagoe, providing an overview of Asustem Robotics’ mission – to offer innovative and engaging STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education resources to schools. This set the stage for an exciting exploration of our Asustem STEM labs, where the students delved into various STEM topics through hands-on activities and experiments.

One of the highlights of the visit was a special tech training session led by the Asustem team. The students were introduced to coding, learned how to build a robot, explored electronics, and engaged in Arduino lessons. The training was designed to be interactive, ensuring the students had ample opportunities to apply their newfound skills in a practical setting.

As the session concluded, the students were buzzing with excitement and a newfound appreciation for STEM’s possibilities for their future. The visit from IBS Africa proved to be a success, leaving the students with a deeper understanding of STEM concepts and a sense of inspiration for their educational journey.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the team at IBS Africa for choosing Asustem Robotics for their STEM tour. It was a pleasure to witness the students’ enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge. We look forward to more collaborative efforts to inspire and empower the next generation of innovators.
