Our Founders' Journey
The story of Asustem Robotics Academy began with two passionate minds — David Asumadu-Boateng, a seasoned IT Consultant and Technology Leader, and Mavis Achiaa Amoah, an experienced HR and Capacity Building Specialist. Driven by a shared belief that Africa’s future depends on practical, hands-on STEM education, they founded Asustem Robotics in 2019 to bridge the gap between learning and innovation.
With over 30 years of combined experience in technology, education, and people development, David and Mavis have built Asustem into a space where young minds are inspired to create, explore, and lead. Their journey reflects a deep commitment to empowering Africans with the skills needed for a rapidly changing world.

The Asustem Robotics Academy team is made up of passionate professionals committed to advancing STEM education and innovation across Africa. Our diverse expertise spans education, technology, business, finance, data, and human capacity development, all working together to make learning practical, inclusive, and impactful.
Among us are education specialists, IT consultants, finance and business advisors, STEM coaches, human resource experts, data analysts, and STEM advocates, each contributing to a shared mission: empowering communities through technology and innovation.
No matter our titles or areas of expertise, we are united by one belief: that a better Africa is possible when its people lead the change in innovation, education, and technology.
